The Thai Government Lottery, known as สลากกินแบ่ง is drawn on the 1st and 16th of every month, televised live from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm ICT. The game is administered by the Thai Government Lottery Office (GLO), who in return receive a 28% share of the lotteries profits for state use.
Thai Lottery cost 80 baht per ticket, tickets can only be purchased from official retail agents, either in the form of individual lottery vendors or lottery ticket stands often found outside of shops.
Drawings take place at the GLO headquarters under the supervision of an unaffiliated guest acting as an official witness. If the draw day (1st or 16th) falls on a public holiday, the draw will be postponed and held the following day.
